Downtown Corridor
Flourishing with character shops and retail, the downtown corridor is the original hub of Squamish. In the midst of revitalization, it is seeing a burst of life with new, unique shops, and significant residential projects adding to the vibrant community.
You can find all your ammenities for your visit; groceries, postal service, retail, boutique shopping. Cleaveland Avenue runs the length of downtown, acting as the main strip for visitors, with a selection of small restaurants and pubs.
Downtown is also home to the local youth centre and public outdoor skateboard park, as well as the marinas on the waterfront, for access to sailing, kayak & jet ski rentals.
How to Get Here
Downtown Squamish is accessed from Cleaveland Avenue, the first major intersection on Highway 99 when you are travelling from the South. Cleavelend Ave will take you the full stretch of downtown, currently culminating at the Howe Sound Inn & Brew Pub at far end. Parking is available throughout the area.
Turning the opposite direction off Highway 99, you'll find us at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
