Squamish downhillers return to this year's Test of Metal Weekend with the Rockstar Invitational, presented by Tantalus Bike Shop, down some of the gnarliest mountain bike terrain in Squamish.

This event features excellent spectator viewpoints. Come watch the rockstars!

In contrast to the weekend's headline event, the Test of Metal cross-country mountain bike race, downhill's emphasis is on technical downhill riding skills. The downhill event starts on the top of Cougar Ridge, runs to the bottom of Endo, and out into Raven's Plateau. The route provides the ultimate singletrack technical challenge, with steep twisting lines, big drops and a myriad of challenging obstacles.

The Invitational, open to Squamish riders only, is an exciting spectator event held on the final day of the Squamish Mountain Bike Weekend. Spectators can access the best viewpoints by walking up Endo from the bridge at the end of Raven's Plateau. Spectators should arrive early to be in place before the riders begin their descents. Please, no dogs.
