A 5-day Celebration of Climbing Culture

Squamish Mountain Festival When it comes to gravity-defying climbing, bouldering and huge mountain culture, no-where delivers it better than Squamish, British Columbia. The Squamish Mountain Festival SQUMF 2011 hits the ground running from July 13th to 17th, to celebrate its fifth-annual event, highlighting the world-famous climbing culture and all those who are on the edge of obsession of all things rock-related.

A five-day celebration of all things rock, SQUMF unites international with home-grown participants and appreciators of climbing culture. For sticky fingers that can't get enough of boulders, spires, walls and cracks, this year's featured events include:

  • Instructional climbing clinics
  • Films
  • Photo contest
  • Trail days
  • Parties

All participants are encouraged to carpool, self-propel, bring their beer mug/cup and keep trails clean during the duration of their visit.
