Murrin Provincial Park boasts an array of activities for all ages, from the kids in the family to expert rock climbers. Ideal for summer visits, the park is ideal on a summer day for family picnicking, swimming in Browning Lake, walking or hiking the lake & bluff trails.

The parking area is also the start-off point for the Petgill Lake trail, with the trailhead just across the highway. The trail climbs steeply for about 6km, with an incredible view of Squamish at a rocky viewpoint, and the quaint Petgill Lake as the final destination.

Meanwhile, rock climbers come for the hundreds of single-pitch sport and traditional climbing routes established in the area, yielding everything from great beginner learning areas to high-calibre 5.13 test pieces.

How to Get Here

Located adjacent to (and visible from) Highway 99, the park is about 10 minutes (9km) South of the Squamish Adventure Centre, and just north of Britannia Beach. The parking lot and the Park are on the West side of the highway.
