Family Friendly Trails

Squamish is the Outdoor Recreation Capital of Canada. This doesn't mean that you have to be an "extreme" family to enjoy all that Squamish has have to offer. There is plenty to choose from for families.
Younger families - have you gone down to the waterfront in search of crabs along the beachfront of the Waterfront Trail?
How about trying your hand at kiteflying while you are there, after all Squamish means "Mother of Wind" in Coast Salish.
For a longer walk, try the Ray Peters Trail in Brackendale offering a glimpse into the forest and Cheakeye Fan. If you are quite on this walk you might see deer, and an array of birds as Brackendale is the winter home of the Bald Eagle.
