Valleycliffe, Smoke Bluffs, and Crumpit Woods
Valleycliffe is the most southerly residential neighbourhood in Squamish, just across the Stawamus River from the Stawamus Chief. The Smoke Bluff Provincial Park and Crumpit Woods border the neighborhood to the north, offering expansive recreation options for visitors and residents.
Smoke Bluffs
Attracting rock climbers of all abilities, the Smoke Bluffs boast hundreds of quality granite single-pitch rock climbing routes scattered in pockets throughout the park. The easy access and high quality rock make it an ideal location for your first rock climbing lesson or tour, while the impressive list of routes will keep novice - advanced rock climbers busy for weeks. The well-maintained trail Smoke Bluff Loop network allows hikers explore the bluffs, discover scenic lookouts, picnick, and watch nearby climbers from above or below. Trail information and climbing guide books are available at the Squamish Adventure Centre.

Parking and trailhead information for the Smoke Bluffs is just steps away from the Squamish Adventure Centre on Loggers Lane. Visit us for all the information you need, then hop across the street for your afternoon in the bluffs.
Crumpit Woods
Home to an expansive trail network, the Crumpit Woods area is a great start off point for cross-country mountain bike rides. You can spend the afternoon in the Woods itself, or take the Ring Creek trail north to the Garibaldi Highlands and beyond. The far reaches of the trails are also popular dirt biking circuits. Detailed trail maps are available at the Squamish Adventure Centre.
How to Get Here
Your best parking option for Crumpit Woods is a marked gravel pull out at the end of Westway Ave (the main street in Valley Cliff) just before the new 'Raven's Palteau' sub-division, where you'll find a double-track trail head and an information board.
